Maggie Chen has a clear picture of her goals in life. She continually envisions her dream house, and is known for her colorful renderings of boxy houses with charming chimneys, and colorful mailboxes. She can draw dogs from numbers and she often counts the numbers of dogs (and police officers) on her way to the studio each morning. Maggie is an excellent pen pal, and she communicates her affection through greeting cards. From transcribing love songs in her notebook to preparing a holiday card for everyone at Elbow Room, Maggie thrives off of sentimentality, which infuses her work with intention.
