It is an analog pleasure to work with the artists in residence at Elbow Room. The title of this exhibition is borrowed from a piece in the show by Maggie Chen. Elbow Room is a harbor for Hot Kids.

Hot Kids in the coldest of seasons, night longer than day and the rain.

A few blocks from the water, years after the port. It smells like pine needles here. Indoors. Not an outing.

Ponds of smoke embers under the autumn leaves spring far enough off what’s buried stays.

I didn’t know they were sisters. Arm in arm. Cascading.
